Classic Buttermilk Pancakes

These pancakes are SO delicious. You can't go wrong with a classic!














Ingredients:


  • 85g melted butter (cooled slightly)

  • 480ml buttermilk

  • 280g plain flour

  • 67g of caster sugar

  • 1 and 1/4 tsp of baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Method:


  1. Add and mix all dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. Add all wet ingredients to a separate bowl or jug (so it's easier to pour)

  3. Add wet mixture to dry mixture gradually so no lumps form

  4. Add a little oil to a pan and heat on medium temperature cooking each pancake one at a time

  5. Flip when the bubbles start to form on top

  6. Top with whatever you fancy. I topped mine with maple syrup and bananas
