I work with people who are fed up of dieting, exhausted by the all or nothing mindset, and just want to build healthy habits that actually fit their lifestyle and that last more than a few weeks.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re “failing” at eating well, I want you to know – you are not failing, the fad diets are failing you. This is where I come in. I can guide and support you and help you achieve your goals that fit into your busy life.

Why I do this work
I have, myself have tried a multitude of diets, fads and restrictive programmes that just weren’t practical or helpful. I was yo-yo dieting most of my adult life. I even cut out sugar for 4 months! A few years ago, I came across a book called ‘how to have your cake and your skinny jeans too’ and it completely revolutionised my way of thinking around food.

I started my own personal journey of intuitive eating and fuelling my body the right way, without restriction and guilt or shame around foods. I got rid of the food noise and created a healthier relationship with food.

I have seen firsthand how diet culture can affect people’s relationship with food through working with clients and observing people who have spent years starting new diets and feeling bad when it hasn’t worked.
I want to help people build healthier habits and help them heal their relationship with food so that they never have to go on a fad diet again.
Hello from Lorna

I’m a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with the Association for Nutrition (AfN). I graduated from Leeds Becket University in 2024 completing my MSc in Nutrition after graduating from my BSc in Health, Wellbeing and Social Care at the University of Bradford in 2016.

I currently also work for NHS England in a role that supports national screening programmes which has given me invaluable experience in public health and supporting people on a bigger scale.
But what I love most is supporting people 1:1 helping them feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

My Qualifications
More than Nutrition
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me:

- Spending time with my husband and three children
- Reading books – usually non-fiction because I love learning new things
- Running, practising yoga or going to the gym
- Baking – I’ve been told I make the best brownies!

Tea or coffee?
Although I love a coffee in the morning, I would have to say tea!

Sweet or savoury?
I have always had a sweet tooth but I’m definitely enjoying more savoury foods as I get older

Early bird or night owl?
Definitely an early bird. I always feel so much better when I’m up early sitting with a coffee on my doorstep

Go-to breakfast?
It has to be scrambled oats with Greek yoghurt, blueberries, honey and mixed seeds!

Cats or dogs?
I currently have 2 rag doll cats, but I would love to add a dog to our family too

Favourite way to relax?
With a good book and cup of tea in the bath!
